LINCOLN, NE: Dont miss the Organic Crop Improvement Associations (OCIAs) Transitioning to Organic workshop on Friday, February 6th from 3:30pm-5:30pm at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Lincoln, NE. This will precede the Welcome Reception of OCIAs Annual General Membership Meeting (AGMM), so that transitioning farmers will have a chance to talk with current organic farmers.

Transitioning to Organic will be conducted by Liz Sarno, Crop Improvement Chair of OCIA Research and Education. She will provide an overview and answer any questions for the beginning organic farmer. The cost to attend this workshop and Welcome Reception, is only $25.00. Individuals can register at the door.

OCIA International is a member-run organization, where bylaws and standards are discussed and voted upon at the AGMM. The University of Lincoln will have a table showcasing their research in the organic industry. A variety of workshops for OCIA members have also been planned.
